The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 specifications are known because the phone was revealed at a recent trade show in Berlin, Germany. The Samsung Galaxy S6 is not expected for release until Q4 2014 or early into 2015. Speculation is rife about what the Galaxy S6 will include.
Well, the wildly-anticipated and long-rumored metal-clad Samsung Galaxy Alpha is already a fact. Without the shadow of doubt, it has fulfilled the dreams of many fans of the manufacturer, who had long craved for a Sammy-branded smartphone, made of premium materials. It comes pretty close to mind that it's a niche device, intended to take on the upcoming iPhone, but regardless of its purpose, the Galaxy Alpha probably marks a new era for Samsung. Undoubtedly, the giant will probably consider another batch of metal-clad devices in the future.
Recent rumors have it that Samsung is currently developing a number of metal devices - the future Samsung Galaxy S6 and even the soon-to-be unveiled Galaxy Note 4 are tipped to flaunt a Galaxy Alpha-like metal frames. While we can't say anything about the sixth generation of the flagship smartphone, which is due out sometime in 2015, we've already told you that the Galaxy Note 4 is heavily rumored to sport metal elements in its exterior encasing. If Samsung embraces such premium build materials, it would probably face less financial turmoils - we all witnessed how the hate-it-or-love-it design of the Galaxy S5 purportedly affected the earnings of the giant in a negative way.
According to a report from China, local manufacturer can yield up to 1 million metal cases per month, which are used by all manufacturers that make metal-clad devices. Should Samsung decide to jump on the metal bandwagon with some of its upcoming performers, this amount will hardly suffice.
